WPC Fire Door Ei 45

The Ei 45 WPC fire door combines the 45-minute rating with the moisture resistance of wood-plastic composite, for service corridors in humid climates, housekeeping and laundry zones, wet treatment areas in medical buildings, and back-of-house routes where cleaning regimes run daily. It delivers 45 minutes of integrity (E) and insulation (I) to EN 1634-1 under the EN 13501-2 framework.

The leaf uses WPC skins with extended intumescent coverage over a core qualified for the higher rating, edge-sealed against water ingress. The surface will not swell, rot or rust, and the seamless face tolerates contract cleaning chemicals — the two failure modes that end a wooden door’s service life early in these positions.

The assembly carries the rating: steel-reinforced, moisture-sealed frame; EN 1935 hinges; EN 1154 closer; EN 12209 lock; matched intumescent and smoke seals, all CE-marked. Vision panels are offered only within tested sizes. Finishes are wood-grain melamine, plain colour or painted, batched across the door schedule so mixed WPC and wooden runs hold one colour line.

Certification documents are available on request. Supply follows the project model: numbered hardware-matched sets, frame templates, node drawings and install-ready export packing, with remote support for the local contractor.
