FANTINE — Manufacturing

Fire Door Manufacturer

Wooden and WPC fire doors to EN 1634-1, Ei 30 / Ei 45 / Ei 60 — built for hotel and commercial projects.

FANTINE manufactures wooden and WPC fire doors at its factory in Huizhou, Guangdong, for hotel, commercial and residential projects worldwide. The line covers Ei 30, Ei 45 and Ei 60 classifications, tested to EN 1634-1 under the EN 13501-2 framework, in single and double leaf configurations. Certification documents and test reports are available on request with any quotation.

Ratings, chosen by position

The rating is set by the building’s fire strategy, not by preference. Guestroom entrance doors and internal corridor subdivisions are most often specified at Ei 30. Corridor doors serving service areas, risers and higher-occupancy floors move to Ei 45. Escape routes, stairwells, plant rooms and high-rise positions are typically Ei 60, where 60 minutes of integrity and insulation protects the evacuation path. We quote per leaf and per position, and we flag where a schedule mixes ratings so the batch can be planned and finished together.

Two product lines

The wooden line uses a 54 mm leaf built on an engineered core with hardwood lipping and machined intumescent seal grooves, finished in natural veneer, project-colour lacquer or HPL for back-of-house duty. It is the default for guestroom and corridor doors where the door must match the interior scheme — veneer is batched with the guestroom casework so door and wardrobe read as one material.

The WPC line replaces timber with water-resistant wood-plastic composite skins, edge-sealed against moisture ingress. It is specified where wooden leaves historically fail: coastal humidity, wet treatment rooms, sanitation zones and high-frequency service traffic. Faces are seamless and cleanable, and the leaf will not swell, rot or rust.

A fire door is a system

A fire rating belongs to the whole assembly, not the leaf. Frames, hinges to EN 1935, closers to EN 1154, locks to EN 12209 and intumescent seals are specified as one matched, CE-marked set. Vision panels and louvres are offered only in sizes covered by test evidence. Every door ships as a numbered, hardware-matched set with frame templates and node drawings for the local contractor.

OEM and project supply

We supply trading companies and procurement teams under OEM programmes — your specification, your hardware standard, neutral packing — and under project programmes with finish schedules matched to the interior design. Production runs 8–11 weeks from approved drawings, order economics are best from 50 leaves, and payment terms are T/T 30/70. Enquiries receive a substantive response within 24 hours.

Door programmes rarely travel alone. Where the hotel or building also sources casegoods and millwork from us, veneer for door leaves is batched with the furniture so entrance doors, wardrobes and wall panels hold one colour line across the floor — the detail catalogue doors cannot match. Every order ships install-ready: numbered, hardware-matched sets in export-grade wooden crates with ISPM-15 fumigation marks, frame templates and node drawings for the local contractor, and a container loading plan issued before stuffing. Sea transit is 4–6 weeks to most markets, and schedule questions get a substantive answer within 24 hours.
