WPC Fire Door Ei 60
The Ei 60 WPC fire door serves the hardest combination in the range: a 60-minute rating position that also has to survive moisture, chemicals and heavy traffic — escape and rescue routes through wet treatment areas, hospital service corridors, coastal high-rise back-of-house routes and plant-area access. It delivers 60 minutes of integrity (E) and insulation (I) to EN 1634-1 under the EN 13501-2 framework.
The leaf is the heaviest construction in the WPC line, with full-perimeter intumescent coverage and a reinforcement package for the heavier hardware set. The core and skins are built to the tested configuration and edge-sealed against water ingress; the seamless faces carry hygiene protocols where wooden leaves are not accepted.
As with every rating, the assembly carries the performance — steel-reinforced, moisture-sealed frame, EN 1935 grade 13 hinges, EN 1154 closer, EN 12209 lock and matched seals, all CE-marked, vision panels only within tested sizes. Finishes are plain colour, painted or textured skin, specified against the project schedule.
Certification documents are available on request. Doors ship as numbered hardware-matched sets with frame templates and node drawings, install-ready for the local contractor. Medical and commercial programmes typically order by zone against the clinical or operational move plan; OEM schedules run on the same line. Enquiries are answered within 24 hours.
