Meridian Dining Table

The Meridian Dining Table answers a classic project problem: the brief wants a 2.4-meter stone-topped table that looks carved from one block, and the freight budget says otherwise. The intent was monolithic presence with engineering that accepts the reality of global shipping.

Structure and Finish

The top is 20 mm marble, sintered stone, or solid oak on an aluminum honeycomb backer — a 2.4 m stone top weighs 86 kg instead of 240 kg, with no visible lamination line. The base is a powder-coated steel frame skinned in matching veneer or stone, joined to the top through concealed threaded inserts: 8 bolts, one torque key, zero visible fixings. Surface finishes are sealed to contract standard — stain-tested against wine, coffee, and citrus for 24 hours.

Three Crates, One Table

The table breaks into top, base, and stretcher, each in its own numbered crate with foam-in-place protection. The install manual includes node drawings and a 15-minute assembly sequence; two people complete one table with hand tools only.
