Furniture — Beds & Headboards
Fluted wall-mounted headboard panels that span beds, walls, and full suites.
The piece
The Ridge Headboard Panel turns the headboard from a furniture piece into a wall system: vertical fluted panels that mount to the substrate and span one bed, a full wall, or an entire suite corridor. The intent was rhythm and shadow — a surface that does the decorating, with the bed left free-standing.
Flutes are CNC-machined to ±0.3 mm pitch tolerance in solid oak, walnut, or MDF core, then veneer-wrapped or upholstered in channels. Panels are 600 mm modules that butt-join with shadow gaps, so any wall width resolves to a whole number of modules. Mounting is a concealed split-batten (Z-clip) rail — panels hang, level, and lock with no visible fixings and can be lifted off for re-upholstery without disturbing the wall.
Modules ship flat, numbered left-to-right per room elevation, with substrate requirements (≥12 mm plywood or masonry anchors) stated on the node drawings. A two-person local crew hangs a king-width composition in about 30 minutes using the supplied rail template.
Flute pitch (25–100 mm), panel height to 3 m, wood species, stain, or upholstery are all open; integrated reading lights and power outlets are cut and wired in-factory. Lead time 8–10 weeks.
