Aria Lounge Chair

The Aria Lounge Chair was drawn for hotel lobbies that run 24/7: a low, enveloping profile that reads as one continuous surface. The intent was simple — a chair a designer would put in a render, engineered so a procurement team can order 120 of them without a single quality deviation between unit 1 and unit 120.

Structure and Craft

The frame is CNC-cut birch plywood over a kiln-dried beech substructure, stress-tested to 150,000 seat cycles (BIFMA X5.4 equivalent). All joints are mechanical: concealed steel brackets and threaded inserts, no exposed screws anywhere on the visible envelope. The upholstery is removable via hidden zippers and hook-and-loop tracks, so housekeeping can re-cover a chair on site in under 10 minutes.

Shipped Install-Ready

Each chair breaks down into seat shell, back shell, and base for flat-packed, numbered crating — a 40HQ container takes roughly 110 units. Assembly on site is 6 bolts per chair with the supplied torque key; the numbered packing list maps every crate to its floor zone for your local contractor.

Dimensions, materials, and finishes are fully open: any width, seat height, or back rake; any textile, leather, or COM at 2.5 m per chair. Lead time 8–10 weeks from approved shop drawings.
