Furniture — Seating
A modular sofa system that reconfigures without tools and survives lobby traffic.
The piece
The Salto Sofa is a modular system for lobbies, lounges, and co-working floors where layouts change with the season. The intent: one platform that reads as a single tailored sofa in a two-seat run, and as a 12-meter landscape in a lobby — with no visible difference in craft between the two.
Each module sits on a welded steel underframe with adjustable glides, rated to 200 kg per seat position. Modules connect through concealed under-seat linking brackets — invisible from every angle, releasable by one person with the supplied tool. Cushion cores are layered HR foam (50 kg/m³ seat, 35 kg/m³ back) with full removable covers; seams are double-stitched at 6 stitches per cm and pull-tested per batch.
Modules ship as numbered, flat-crate units with a layout map: crate 07 is seat module C, row 2. There is nothing to fabricate on site — your local contractor positions modules and locks the linking brackets, typically 4 modules per hour per crew.
Arm heights, seat depths (600–1,000 mm), corner, chaise, and ottoman modules — all dimensions and finishes are open, including fully custom radii for curved runs. Lead time 10–13 weeks from sign-off.
