Furniture — Tables
Layered stone and metal tables, grouped or solo, built for commercial floors.
The piece
The Strata Coffee Table is a layered composition — a cantilevered stone plane over a lower metal shelf — designed to be specified solo, in nesting pairs, or as a family of three heights across a lounge. The intent was to give designers a composed, architectural object that behaves like furniture on a commercial floor plan.
The top is 12 mm sintered stone or quartz, impact-rated for commercial use and UV-stable for window-adjacent placement. The shelf and spine are 4 mm folded steel, powder-coated and fixed with countersunk, tamper-proof fasteners driven from inside the spine — the visible envelope carries no hardware at all. Leveling glides adjust 12 mm for uneven stone floors. Each table passes a 60 kg point-load test on the cantilever tip.
Top and spine ship separated in one flat crate per table; assembly is 6 tamper-proof bolts with the supplied key bit, under 10 minutes per unit. The packing list references the reflected ceiling plan so your local contractor can place tables to drawing without re-measuring.
Heights (320/380/440 mm standard, any value open), footprint, stone selection, and metal finish across 12 RAL colors are all open to spec. Mixed-material tops — stone over wood shelf — are standard custom work. Lead time 8–10 weeks.
